Join us in celebrating our planet's life support system

Making up 90% of our ocean, the deep-sea is the largest habitat on our planet and is home to around ten million species, the majority as yet undiscovered. A healthy deep-sea environment helps to make life on Earth possible, providing a huge range of services for us all, including crucial carbon storage. It may also hold the key to our future, providing a potential source of medicines as well as immeasurable intrinsic and cultural value.

Join the Deep Sea Conservation Coalition (DSCC) for Deep Sea TV, a celebration of our incredible deep sea, bringing together voices from across the world to share the many ways in which we value the deep.

In an interactive discussion, our speakers will share their perspectives on why the health of the deep ocean is so important and what critical action is needed to address the emerging threat of deep-sea mining.

Registration for this event is required, and early registration is recommended. Once subscribed, attendees will receive more detailed information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
